Job Description
Purpose
Ensuring that the financial reporting and planning is reliable and effective. The Finance Controller works for several assigned business units and supports these according to local legislation.
Key Responsibilities and key result area’s
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Review monthly closing.
Prepare management reporting.
Prepare financial analysis.
Review financial statements and filing reports.
Review payroll journal entries.
Review VAT returns.
Review sales invoices.
Review and analyze expenses and revenues.
Assist management in preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Monitor all budgets for assigned business units.
Implementation of transfer pricing policy.
Advise management on various matters (i.e. investments and equipment)
Participate in relevant financial improvement projects and other initiatives.
Review balance sheet specification.
Manage the assistant controller(s).
Contribute to defining the group level policies and procedures.
Responsible for compliance to group policies and procedures within the Finance area of the assigned business unit.
Manage the financial audit of the assigned business unit.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by manager or supervisor.
