LaBella is seeking an Ecological Construction & Restoration Project Manager for our Environmental Division in the Capital Region of New York. This leadership position will be responsible for bidding, performing, and managing projects as well as supervising teams in the field. These projects will include invasive species management, habitat rehabilitation, wetland mitigation and stream and shoreline restoration services for private and public sector clients.
Additional duties will include assisting the Program Manager to build and manage a team of restoration technicians to service these projects in Eastern New York, including the Capital Region, Hudson Valley, and Adirondacks.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the ecological / environmental restoration field.
Bachelors or Associates Degree in natural sciences (e.g., ecology, geography, biology, etc.)
Ability to identify invasive plant species common to the Northeastern USA.
Experience supervising field crews and managing projects.
Possess a NYSDEC Pesticide Applicator’s License
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to interact directly with clients in a professional manner and conduct business development.
Ability to travel routinely.
Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and walk all day over rough terrain.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
