Quality Inspector

Job Description
Summary:
This position is responsible for the basic product dimensional, visual, and test inspection activity, for auditing the product performance and for maintaining the quality program. Candidates having metallurgical inspection (hardness testing) experience will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
Conducts dimensional inspection activities during production at ITW CCNA facilities or on supplier provided samples. 
Completes product quality audits checking dimensions and other features per blueprint and quality document requirements.
Conducts daily audit actions per existing audit program guidelines on manufactured and suppler product.
Track and document quality checks for assigned product as required.
Knowledge and experience in metallurgical inspection (hardness testing).
Write test reports and enter data on a computer.
Work with other team members and participate in team events and meetings.
This position may be assigned other duties as needed to support the plant and to meet customer needs.
