Client Overview: My client, an esteemed Tier 1 contractor is a prominent player in the construction industry, specialising in delivering exceptional multimillion pound engineering projects across various sectors.
  
Purpose of the Role: An opportunity has arisen for a Planner to join the team, supporting the business unit by ensuring effective planning techniques across projects of diverse scale and complexity. The role involves working specifically large-scale AMP 7 water projects, focusing on providing Sustainable Urban Drainage solutions within community areas.
  
Key Accountabilities:

Ensuring compliance with planning processes and procedures
Providing comprehensive planning across project phases
Reviewing documents and identifying contract requirements
Developing detailed bid programmes and method statements
Visiting sites to assess conditions and constraints
Producing integrated design, procurement, and construction stage programmes
Utilising Earned Value techniques for performance demonstration
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for optimal programme development
Reporting project progress and identifying potential delays
Assisting in claims and disputes resolution
Supporting and developing junior team members   
About You:

Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Strong prioritisation skills in demanding environments
Relevant degree or HND in engineering or project/construction management
Experience in planning and progress measurement
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Excel, and Word
