Ruby on Rails Developer - £50k - £75k
Here at Movement8, we have an exciting opportunity working with a fast-growing SaaS company. The client are going through a maturity phase, and would require suitable candidates to work a hybrid module of 2 days a week in their London office.
The ideal candidate would come from a start-up environment as well as having e-commerce experience.
Responsibilities include:
Training and mentoring Junior developers in the team i.e spotting skills gaps
Reviewing the code of other to identify potential
building innovative products
Assisting in developing, maintaining and improving the system.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years experience in Ruby/Ruby on Rails
Good problem-solving skills with an understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Security and performance awareness.
Familiarity with coding standards and best practices.
Self-management and self-motivation.
Great English, both verbal and written.
Technical Skills:
Ruby, Rails, Sidekiq, VueJS, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, AWS
