We are delighted to be working with a family-owned and established business based in Derby and are seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their accounts team.
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance department.
This role would suit a candidate who has worked in a similar role with a friendly and confident attitude towards working, excellent communication skills and looking to start a new position immediately.

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities
* Posting invoices and checking PODs where appropriate
* Reconciling statements, including for a large buying group.
* Expenses posting including credit cards
* Creating payment runs at month ends
* Investigating and clearing queries with suppliers on disputed invoices
* Answering phones in the accounts office, including taking customer payments by phone.
* Filing and other accounts admin duties to help keep records in order.
About You
* Purchase Ledger experience is essential for this role.
* Proficiency in accounting software
* Excellent communication and IT skills including Excel.
* Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
* Ability to analyse financial data and identify discrepancies.
