About The Role
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records by completing management accounts and reconciling balance sheets.
* Collaborate with operational teams to establish accrued and deferred income and work-in-progress.
* Post payroll journals and manage credit card postings.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns and Construction Industry Scheme returns.
* Oversee customer and supplier retentions and manage the corporation tax position.
* Liaise with year-end accountants/auditors and complete necessary requests.
* Provide business analysis and support month-end reporting.
* Assist with payment runs and credit control if required.
* Support the finance function in a growing business with any other duties as required.
About You
* AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA studying preferable. Qualified by Experienced certainly of interest.
* Demonstrate initiative as a self-starter and collaborate effectively as a team player.
* Possess strong communication skills.
* Experience working with finance systems
* Proficient in Excel.
* Previous experience in a busy accounts department.
