Manufacturing Management Accountant

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Management Accountant to join our clients finance team based in Wigston.

The Management Accountant will play a key role in the business. Working closely with the Financial Controller you will be preparing and analysing factory financial performance against budget and targets.
Key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include:
Updating all databases used for the calculation of the standard product cost
Analyse variances in actual usage of raw materials and labour hours to provide insight to SMT to support efficient management of the production process.
Produce reports to explain variances against standard for manufacturing and labour losses.
Produce the factory budget and re-forecast (when required)
Calculate PCU and NPD
What is required to be a successful Management Accountant:
Previous experience in a similar role
Strong IT skills - ability to extract, manipulate and analyse date in Excel and Access
SAP FICO experience - Desirable
Hold a recognised accounting qualification - or hold demonstrable experience to be QBE
Strong communicator with the ability to explain complex data
