Length: 6 months temporary contract to extend

Work hour: 09.00 am – 05:00 pm

Pay Rate: £12/hour PAYE

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a Planning Assistant on behalf of a well established Facilities Management company on a 6 months temporary contract to extend.

You will play an instrumental role in undertaking the validation of planning applications, including checking plans, forms and fees. Some of the other duties will include but are not limited to:

Have the opportunity to assist in the processing of minor and other planning applications from submission to recommendation, including conducting site visits, liaising with customers and preparing accurate and concise reports.

Have the opportunity to respond to pre-application enquiries in a timely manner.

*

Support the team in achieving contract performance targets.

*

Provide excellent customer service to a wide variety of customers of the planning service.

*

Undertake any other duties which may reasonably be expected at this level in supporting the delivery of the planning function

Requirements for this position:

*

Previous experience of working in an office environment, with frontline customer services experience.

*

Knowledge and understanding of office systems, routines and processes.

*

Knowledge and understanding of the required compliance with health and safety requirements.

*

Ability to build effective relationships with customers, colleagues and visitors.

*

Ability to plan and organise work.

*

Experience and ability to effectively use IT including databases and Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and TEAMs.

*

Flexible to meet the needs of the service.

*

Adaptable to change and new ways of working.

*

Knowledge of working in a planning environment is desirable
