Level 2 (One-to-One) Teaching Assistant

GSL Education is seeking a Level 2 (One-to-One) Teaching Assistant to work school in Goole.
About the Role: A Level 2 (One-to-One) to provide one-to-one support to a student with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This role is vital in ensuring that our student receives the personalized attention and assistance they need to thrive in their educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support to a student with ADHD and ASC.
Assist in implementing individual education plans.
Facilitate a positive learning environment.
Support the student in both academic and social activities.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other staff members.
Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Experience working with children with SEN, specifically ADHD and ASC.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and flexible.
A commitment to promoting inclusivity and equality.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
