About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Newcastle. This role is ideal for an educator who is committed to delivering high-quality mathematics education and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Maths Teacher Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Utilise innovative teaching methods and digital resources to enhance learning experiences.
Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies and demonstrate good practice in the classes taught.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
Maths Teacher Requirements:
Must be a qualified teacher with a PGCE in Mathematics and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK.
Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school environment.
Strong understanding of the current curriculum and a creative approach to delivering it.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
