Mechanical Installation supervisor
Skilltech Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Mechanical installation supervisor for their client in the Merseyside area, an exciting opportunity to work for an organisation that are at the forefront of innovation and manufacturing within materials handling and special purpose equipment.
Reporting directly to the installation manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting all facets of site installation including close collaboration with the project department to ensure scope, budget and timelines are delivered.
We are looking for a site installation supervisor with the following: -
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing material handling, conveyor or similar installation projects.
* Flexibility to working across the UK.
* Relevant safety training.
* Excellent communication, organisational and report writing skills.
* Previous experience interacting directly with clients and principal contractors to nurture and build relationships.
As a site installation supervisor, you will: -
* Participate in client meetings alongside the project team and undertake tasks assigned.
* Contribute to internal departmental meetings.
* Take responsibility and ensure all site-specific installation documentation is kept up to date.
* Adhere to company installation department processes and documentation.
* Oversee subcontractor management and ensure all activities comply with company safety, environmental accreditations and regulations.
* Assess and document subcontractor skills, experience and capabilities.
* Manage required project equipment whilst on site.
* Be prepared to get hands-on with snagging etc!
Package
* Annual salary of £38k - £45k depending on experience.
* Pension contribution of 5%.
* 25 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holidays.
* Overtime payment for hours worked over the standard 40.
* Provision of a company van
