Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £35k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with a well-established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company who provide the full range of Water Treatment / Water Hygiene management services for Facilities Management, Industrial, Commercial, and Residential sites. They are now looking to take on a diligent and knowledgeable Water Treatment Engineer to cover contracts across the South East. The successful candidate will have extensive experience carrying out Water Treatment services including sampling and analysis of LTHW and CHW systems ensuring to dose with appropriate chemicals upon completion of analysis.
Candidate will have good access to London / M25 and surrounding areas: Windsor, Slough, Bracknell, Basingstoke, Woking, Guildford, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Luton, Watford, St Albans, Enfield, Hertford, Stevenage, Cheshunt, Reigate, Epsom, High Wycombe, Haslemere, Horsham.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have experience working as a treatment engineer for an established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company.
" In-depth knowledge of relevant HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent IT skills.
" Able to work in line with company / client requirements.
" Excellent communication skills.
The Role:
" Carrying out sampling and analysis of LTHW and CHW systems.
" Dosing systems with correct chemicals upon completion of analysis.
" Temperature monitoring.
" Water sampling.
" Calorifier inspections.
" Carrying out cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
" ClO2 unit servicing.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Inspecting, servicing, and replacing TMVs.
" Cleans and disinfections of showerheads.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
