Salary and Benefits:
* Competitive salary between £35,000 and £45,000

* Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 16:30 and 08:30 – 13:30 Friday
As a Process Engineer the purpose of the role is:
* Deliver NPI projects on-time, to specification and budget.
* Continuous reporting to client and internally.
* Assisting in implementing solutions to technical issues.
* Conduct tool design reviews with toolmakers.
* Manage budgets and purchase from vendors.
* Hand over all documents, tools and SOPs to the appropriate teams.
Key skills required for the Project Engineer:
* Degree / HNC or equivalent in an engineering or science discipline (will consider long term experience)
* Deliver the project to schedule and budget independently.
* Experience with press tooling in design or manufacturing environments.
* Understanding of contracts and commercial awareness.
* Able to decipher technical drawings efficiently.
* Use of Microsoft project software.
Skills/Experience for a Project Engineer:
* Understanding of our manufacturing process – press / stamping, laser cutting, press brake, MIG welding, projection welding, machining and mechanical assembly.
* Know how to work with automation equipment.
* CAD and SolidWords experience preferred.
* Able to use basic measuring equipment’s (calipers, micrometer, height gauge)
* Understanding of ISO 9000 and IATF 16949
