NURSING DIRECTOR - EMERGENCY DEPT

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ER Nurse Manager to lead an emergency department team. The ER Nurse Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the emergency room, ensuring the highest quality of care for patients. This role involves coordinating patient care, managing nursing staff, and maintaining adherence to hospital policies and standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership and Management:
Supervise and manage ER nursing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth and job satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)  preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience required and a minimum of two (2) years progressive management experience required.
Technical Skills:
Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet and database.
License/Certification:
Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
Other:
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
