Orion are currently working with a large scale, rapidly growing horticultural business who are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager around the Yorkshire area.

They are looking for a Area Sales Manager to join their established team, and work hands-on in a fast-paced environment to help grow the business and manage existing accounts.  

Area Sales Manager Roles & Responsibilities:

Existing client management

New business development in your region

Implement business growth strategy

Reporting to the wider sales team

Record and log your progress using the CRM system

Develop technical solutions to growers' problems and resolve through the technical teams

Driving continuous improvement

Travel to current and new customers

Area Sales Manager required Experience:

FACTS or BASIS horticultural qualification

Account management

Selling and technical background

New business development

Experience in technical sales

Commercial sales & retail understanding

New product development

Horticultural experience is key

Agriculture background
