Project Engineer - Space Industry

We have a genuinely exciting opportunity to work with one of Europe's leading firms in the Space Industry who are expanding into the UK Market! They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their newly established office in the Space Cluster, Harwell.

This role focuses on developing Mechanical Ground Equipment for space sector clients. The company is renowned for its innovative solutions and robust technical expertise, employing around 400 people globally.

This position is ideal for an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in the space industry and would suit someone who thrives in a dynamic and innovative environment, possesses excellent problem-solving skills, and is adept at managing projects and client relationships. A proactive individual with a passion for technology and engineering will excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Design complex systems and components, including welded structures, mechanical parts, and electromechanical machines, meeting customer needs and requirements.
Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems.
Develop robust technical documentation.
Manage relationships with clients and suppliers.
Coordinate activities in the UK and support UK procurement.

In return you'll receive a salary up to £47,000, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Health Insurance and a match pension up to 8%.
