Your new role
You will work closely with the Senior Manager and Head of Jurisdiction in order to deliver a first-class professional service to clients, both internal and externally. You will assist with the management of day-to-day accounting services. You will help to grow and develop the team this will include overseeing resource planning, supervision in relation to client activities and procedures and conducting appraisals. You will be responsible for preparing quarterly management accounts and annual accounts for a portfolio of clients and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP / IFRS. You will carry out quarterly reporting and annual reporting cycles for a portfolio of clients, including a range of investor reporting. In addition, you will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual VAT returns. Your role will involve investigating and responding to client queries and client meetings. You support with implementing and continually looking to improve on processes while maintaining compliance and documenting procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA), ideally from a professional services background with proven leadership qualities. You will demonstrate strong communication skills and business partnering experience to build and manage client relationships.
