Key Responsibilities:

* Perform welding tasks on structural steel components as per project requirements.

* Operate welding equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.

* Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

* Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.

* Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

* Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Site Welder specializing in structural steel.

* Valid IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) ticket.

* Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.

* Valid DBS check.

* Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).

* Strong understanding of welding symbols, diagrams, and blueprints.

* Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.

Desirable Skills:

* Additional certifications in welding or metalwork.

* Experience with different types of welding equipment and materials.

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues.

* Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
