This is an exciting opportunity for an established mechanical design engineer to join an award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy in their offices in Birmingham. The successful candidate will join a team of design engineers and be exposed to various projects across all sectors of the industry.

Responsibilities for a Mechanical design engineer include:

Limited supervision on producing drawings, reports, and specifications
Working with internal and external clients to provide design and technical advice
Aid with Part L compliance checks
Work alongside your colleagues to help with design and specifications of renewable technologiesThe ideal Mechanical Design Engineer will have:

Qualification or degree within a building services or mechanical engineering discipline
Relevant experience within a mechanical design engineer role and producing design solutions from conception to completion
Working towards CIBSE or IEng chartership
Experience with industry standard software such as Revit, whilst experience with IES being desirable
