Purchasing Data Analyst

My client, based in Bradford are looking for a Purchasing Data Analyst…
Main duties
" Ensure that prices are kept up to date and accurate, deal with all aspects of the stock database including verifying new stock records and inactivating and re-sourcing obsolete ones.
" Produce reports covering product data, including, but not limited to, pricing, sales, stock levels and replenishment.
" Market research on pricing position, collating findings and implementing change based on evidence.
" Support wider Purchasing team with other tasks, such as handling internal queries, processing acknowledgments, resolving discrepancies and maintaining compliance paperwork.
" Support the Purchasing Manager in line with the company's purchasing cost reduction strategy.
The ideal candidate will have..
" A good understanding of Microsoft Office packages (must be advanced with Excel)
" Previous SAP experience would be an advantage
" Basic understanding and use of currency conversions, Margin & Profitability.
" Experience of managing and manipulating large amounts of data
