Job Description
Colby Community College is accepting applications for a full-time Art Instructor. This is a nine-month position to begin in August 2024. The position requires a desire and willingness to work with college and high school students and teach in various formats, i.e., face-to-face, online, hybrid, and interactive platforms like Zoom. The candidate will establish and maintain effective working relationships with all students, administrators, and other faculty. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will develop curriculum, assess student learning, participate in program review, and develop and ensure that course objectives and competencies are established, met, and assessed. Participation in various professional activities, such as actively serving on College committees, student recruitment, and student advising are expectations of the position. Must understand the importance of academic excellence, critical thinking, technology, integrity, innovation, and the ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic rural setting.
 
SALARY
$44,750 (base compensation) to $58,500, depending on credentials and experience.
Flexible benefits program that includes options for single and family health and dental coverage, life insurance, reimbursement accounts, sick leave, and vacation leave allowances. Participation in the state retirement program is required.
