Join us at Teaching Personnel, where we proudly collaborate with one of our esteemed partner Primary Schools, seeking to appoint two dedicated Learning Support Assistants for full-time positions starting immediately. As a crucial member of the team, you will primarily serve as a general classroom assistant, with occasional duties providing emotional and behavioral support to children in need.

In this role, you will cultivate robust, trustworthy relationships with young learners, demonstrating consistency in behavior management strategies. Your responsibilities will include facilitating small group interventions, integrating pupils gradually into mainstream classes, and providing occasional one-on-one support.

The ideal candidate possesses:

Previous experience in managing challenging behaviors and supporting Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in youth
The ability to forge meaningful connections and serve as a positive role model or behavioral mentor
Resilience and adaptability when working with students displaying challenging behaviors and those at risk of exclusion
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young people
Desirable: Access to a vehicle
Sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by young learners
Additional Requirements:

Provision of two professional references
Legal right to work in the UK
Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided)
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (assistance provided)
