Job Title: Year 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Year 2 team. The successful candidate will support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons, help manage classroom behavior, and provide tailored support to individual pupils.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with lesson preparation and classroom management.
* Provide support to pupils with varying learning needs.
* Monitor and record pupil progress.
* Engage with parents and guardians to provide updates on pupil development.
* Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally in KS1.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
* Enhanced DBS check
