Engineering Planning Administrator | Peterborough | £32k

Are you passionate about food and looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? I am working with one of the world's leading food manufacturers and they are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Engineering Planner Administrator to join the team. In this role, you'll support the Engineering department, manage budgets, and play a key part in planning Preventative Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, quality, and legal standards. Lead by example and support HSE initiatives.
Budget Management: Maintain and update maintenance budgets, attend weekly budget meetings, and generate budget reports.
Preventative Maintenance: Support the team using the Preventative Maintenance System (Piranha) by adding new tasks, uploading completed tasks, and building reports.
Stock & Inventory Control: Manage stock, inventory controls, and the asset register across all sites.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to and support continuous improvement projects and maintain high standards during audits and customer visits.
Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Team to ensure adherence to quality and food safety systems and promote a culture of continuous improvement in product quality.

Relationships and Authority:

Report directly to the Factory Manager
Collaborate with Engineering Coordinators across UK sites.
Build strong working relationships with Process Managers, Packing Managers, Hygiene Managers, Quality Managers, Warehouse Managers, and HSE Managers.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Engineering planning and administrative experience is essential.
Skills: Excellent organisational and planning skills, attention to detail, strong computer literacy, and good communication skills.
Attributes: Ability to work in a team, analytical mindset, and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
Competencies: Strong time management, flexibility, adaptability, and an approachable style.
Experience working with safety systems or in a safety-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Engineering Planning and Administrative Experience (Essential)
Full UK Driver's License (Essential)
