Situation: The Civils & Infrastructure division at Ford & Stanley are proud to be working with one of the rail industry's most exciting rail consultancies. My client are looking for an Commercial specialist (Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager) to support the day-to-day commercial operations (client side) across a number of rail projects.

Responsibilities of the role:

Estimating and controlling costs for large and complex projects,
Ensuring that every aspect meets legal and quality standards.
Assisting Seniors in estimating costs, quantities, and project timelines.
Location: Birmingham with hybrid working (occasional site visits)

Who would be right for the role?

Essential: 5+ years of quantity surveying experience

Essential: Rail experience would be beneficial, civils (NEC) experience as a minimum

Essential: BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
