We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join a dynamic Coating and Conversion team.
As a Warehouse Operator will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the warehouse, particularly in the coating and conversion processes. This includes delivering raw material base products to coating machines, transferring finished base products to conversion, and maintaining organized and tidy work areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Load and unload transport vehicles and complete related paperwork.
* Deliver raw materials to coating machines and finished products to conversion.
* Respond to enquiries from relevant departments and maintain effective communication, especially with the converting department.
* Put coated stock away in racking and supply conversion with bases as specified by the department planner.
* Assist in warehouse stock count and ensure the warehouse areas are clean and tidy.
* Supply conversion with empty bins and pallets.
* Lock and unlock gates as required.
* Liaise with CV planning on day-to-day issues.
* Perform forklift checks and put forklifts on charge if trained.
* Turn and pack mill reels for dispatch when required.
Qualifications Required:
* Counterbalance FLT License
* Reach Truck FLT License
* Essential warehouse experience
This is a full time, permanent position staring immediately.
Working hours are: 8am until 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
