We are seeking a talented and dynamic PR & Communications Manager to join the team and help us enhance our brand presence and reputation through captivating visual content and effective communication strategies.
The Client is a large diverse worldwide long-established Business employing a workforce of more than 1000 across operational sites in the UK and worldwide.
Job Summary: The PR & Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing all the Company's communication and PR activities that promote and protect the company's image. This role involves creating compelling visual and written content, managing relationships with stakeholders, coordinating public relations activities, and handling crisis communications to support the company's objectives.
With a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling with the ability to educate and influence, the drive to make a difference, you will ensure that our strategy supports our vision
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive communication and PR strategies to enhance the Company's image and reputation.
* Produce engaging copy for press releases, blogs, podcasts, social media, Linked In, Company's Website and other PR campaigns.
* Manage customer relations, including pitching stories, hosting Community Liaison Meetings, managing customer and regulatory bodysite visits and interviews, responding to enquiries and otherPR activities.
* Manage, coordinate, and executive corporate and consumer events.
* Develop brand collateral for merchandising and promotion.
* Travel between the UK sites to coordinate all PR activities.
* Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos using drones and other photography equipment.
* Develop and maintain relationships with other department heads to ensure we are reporting on all success stories within the Business.
* Manage crisis communication plans and provide timely and effective responses to mitigate negative publicity.
* Monitor media coverage and analyse the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, media landscape changes and PR best practices.
The successful candidate will have the following related skills/experience:
* 2years of experience in public relations, communications, media relations, or a similar role.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational and project management skills.
* Proven experience in drone operation, photography, and video editing.
* Proficiency in photography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro).
* Ability to develop and execute crisis communication plans effectively.
* Creative and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
* Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
Salary:
Between £40k - £50k dependant on experience.
