Position Overview:
As a CNC Programme Setter Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process from completion through to delivery. You will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce complex components according to specifications, working with very tight tolerances. You will also inspect parts while working from engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.
* Work with very tight tolerances to ensure precision in the manufacturing process.
* Inspect parts using measuring equipment while working from engineering drawings.
* Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure efficient production processes.
Requirements:
* Experience setting, operating, and programming CNC machines.
* Desirable experience working with Siemens controls.
* Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Shift Pattern:
This position involves working on a 3-shift pattern, Monday to Friday.
