Quality Assurance Technologist

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading FMCG manufacturer who are looking for a Quality Assurance Technologist to join their business in a days only role. Reporting into the Technical Manager, the role will be 4-on-4-off and will ensure the highest standards of quality across site.

Duties & responsibilities include:

Report and act upon any issues relating to food safety, quality and legality to the management tea
Ensure that the standards of Good manufacturing Practice (GMP) expected by our customers are up held through auditing of the manufactures areas.
Monitor environmental and product temperatures within the factory
Carry out routine calibration of measuring equipment within the factory
Collate, record and facilitate transfer of microbiological and analytical sample to external laboratories.
Ensure that any non-conformances to the company’s food safety and quality policies are raised and carry out auditing of corrective actions
Ensure that any nonconforming products (raw materials, work in progress and finished goods) are effectively quarantined and facilitate the reporting of quarantined products to the QA Manager and other key personnel
Work in a safe & responsible manner observing all aspects of health & safety
