Counterbalance Forklift Driver

FC Workforce is currently looking for MHE trained drivers ( counterbalance ) to work for one of our clients in Hemel Hempstead. For the right candidate this could turn in to a permanent role after 13 weeks.

Shift details :

* Sunday - Thursday ( fixed shift )

* 14:00-22:00

* £12.73

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a COUNTERBALANCE for commercial driving purposes.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of the vehicle

Reporting into Team Leader and/or Shift Manager. Working in a small team of circa 10 operatives.

Occasional work in the yard might be required along with general warehouse.

! All MHE is operated with 4m long boom attachment and not a forks. !

(Must be confident driver, as longer / larger attachment compared to usual FLT)

Skills:
- Must have valid COUNTERBALANCE license.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to drive different types of vehicles
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.

-Must be able to complete Manual Handling tasks given.

- Must have safety shoes and Hi - viz.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £12.73 per hour

Schedule:

* 8 hour shift

* Day shift

* Weekend availability
