Location: Warrenpoint, Newry Road, Warrenpoint, Co. Down, BT34 3LB.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
Contract: Full time, night shift, permanent.

About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of a Permanent Nightshift Multiskilled Engineer with an electrical bias within our Warrenpoint plant.
The successful candidate will hold a key role within the Engineering Maintenance team. Their purpose is to work flexibly within the team to minimise machine downtime through effective Planned and Preventative Maintenance.
The person will also be required to support installations of new equipment and supervise Contractors when needed.
Multiskilled Engineer - Job role and Duties:
• Cover breakdown and assist PM interventions with Cell Engineers
• Comprehensive shift handover
• Work safely and follow SSOW, support cell daily activity
• Identify cell maintenance activity and plan work with Engineering Manager and colleagues
• Communicate and work with Cell team leaders and Production management team to maximise process potential using SPS/ SMS and machine calibrations
• Provide feedback to the cell on status of engineering work required and outstanding
• Be fully involved in cell team improvement activity
• Support other cell engineers maintenance activity when required
• Work with cell to maximise effective use of Maximo to enable assessment of history and identify right future PM’s
• Communicate planned interventions to Production Management and Planning
Essential Skills and Experience:
• High degree of safety training and awareness
• 17th Edition certified/qualified
• At least 5 years experience in industry
• Ability to problem solve in a structured manner
• Ability to carry out mechanical repair as required
• Ability to work shifts including Nights and weekends as required
• Familiar with Preventative Maintenance schedules and the use of Planned and Preventative Maintenance software
• Management and supervision of Contractors
