Maintech are currently partnered with one of the UK’s premier vehicle manufacturers, this household name brand operate within the Motor / People transport / Trucking industry and have their people at the forefront of everything they do.
They are look for a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to embark on a career journey with their Bellshill Dealership. This renowned dealership is at the forefront of innovation, with the upcoming launch of their second generation of cutting-edge electric vehicle technology and a new three-bay LCV workshop. This is a chance to become an integral part of the future of driving, specialising in servicing, repairing, and maintaining an exciting range of both electric and internal combustion engine vehicles.
In this pivotal role, your expertise will ensure the highest standards of routine maintenance and repairs are met, in line with the manufacturer’s stringent procedures. With access to the latest diagnostic equipment, your ability to conduct fast and accurate fault diagnosis will be crucial, as will your adherence to company processes and safety checks. This role is not just a job; it's a chance to enhance your skills through comprehensive training courses and to contribute to a legacy of automotive excellence.
The ideal candidate for this LCV Technician will:
Be a diagnostic expert, ideally with experience within a franchised or main dealer workshop environment. Armed with technical qualifications and relevant experience, your ability to work collaboratively and independently will be valued.
You are someone who embraces pressure, is motivated by deadlines, and for whom problem-solving is second nature.
A valid UK driving license is essential, as is a commitment to upholding Health & Safety and Environmental regulations.
As a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician, the role offers:
A generous hourly rate of £16.25.
The prospect of earning overtime at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
Weekly commitment of 42.5 hours, starting between 7 am and 8 am and concluding between 4 pm and 5 pm.
30 days Annual Leave including Bank holidays increasing with service.
