Berry Recruitment are looking for an Import Co-ordinator to join one of the UK's leading providers of international freight and transport logistics services based in Nursling.
This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 with a 1 hour lunch break.
Salary is between £24,000 and £25,000 depending on experience.
The main purpose of this role is to support the Freight Forwarding department with all import tasks.
Main Duties:
Preparation of documentation ensuring all is correct
Raising invoices and quotations
Deal with import entries in line with HMRC
Liaise with clients, shipping lines and 3rd parties and build strong relationships
Gaining full understanding of Bonded warehouse operation and inbound logistics
Assist with HMRC and client audits
General admin dutiesTraining will be provided on all aspects of this role!
Candidate Skills:
Freight forwarding background is desirable but not essential
Administration experience is essential
Attention to detail
Experience using Microsoft Office - in particular ExcelCompany Benefits:
