Concrete Cutting Field Operations Manager
Location: Southeast Side of Chicago/NW Indiana
Job Type and Duration: Direct hire
Pay rate: $90-$125k
Relocation assistance provided.
*FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER FOR A CONCRETE CUTTING, SAWING AND DRILLING COMPANY*
Candidates with concrete cutting management experience, sewer, road building/construction, underground utilities are encouraged to apply.
The person in this role will manage the field operations of the service and contracting divisions for our client. You will be provided with a truck and gas card for your company expenses to manage approximately 50 field craftsmen and a fleet of 50 heavy equipment and trucks.
Responsibilities:
* Scheduling personnel for worksite and dispatch drivers.
* Monitoring inventory- materials and equipment.
* Assist in preparation for bid proposals- cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables.
* Hiring field personnel while supporting both local and highway DOT divisions.
* Overseeing employees, assigning tasks, setting schedules, reading reports, monitoring work performance, and updating records.
* Will provide troubleshooting to field techs.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
* Union experience.
* Concrete Cutting experience is a must.
* 3 years Construction experience.
* Strong Leadership Abilities and good written/verbal communication skills.
