Fabric Technician
Permanent - Sunbury on Thames
£36,0000. Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm
We’re currently looking for an experienced Fabric Technician to join our well established client at a site in Sunbury on Thames. The client is able to provide training and development to the successful candidate.
Key duties:
Carry out all fabric duties including carpentry, painting & decorating, replacing ceiling tiles and laying carpet tiles.
To undertake PPM and reactive works to ensure that all jobs are completed in line with Service Level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators and Critical Performance Indicators
To immediately report any potentially dangerous situations
To order materials and services using ordering system and to update records and job sheets to certify satisfactory delivery/completion
Have good Health & safety knowledge and ensure that HSSE policies and requirements are adhered to and promote a positive culture within the team.
Ensure your own PPE and Tooling is kept safe, secure and in good condition.
Work closely with sub-contractors to ensure agreed service and safety standards are met – some monitoring of work during service visits may be required. Requirements:
City and Guilds / NVQ 2 minimum in Carpentry, Joinery, Building Construction knowledge & experience or equivalent qualification in designated trade or proven relevant experience.
Proven experience of multi skilled Fabric building maintenance in a building services environment.
Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental issues, able to interpret and implement policy, regulations, and legislation at operational level
