HR Operations Manager

Our client is a highly reputable employer based near Bury St Edmunds and we are currently supporting them with the recruitment of an HR Operations Manager.  They have an outstanding culture, helped established and embedded by a high functioning HR team, and very strong benefits, including hybrid working and bonuses.

This is an HR leadership role that will oversee and manage the day-to-day HR operations. The successful candidate will be managing  a team of HR professionals, providing leadership and guidance, and ensuring that all HR operations run smoothly, efficiently and supports the delivery of the People & Culture Strategy and business objectives.

Responsibilities will include:

- Lead the HR Advisors in handling employee casework
- Lead the HR Support Team to provide a right first time administration service to all stakeholders
- Develop HR Advisors and HR support team, providing guidance, coaching and development opportunities.
- Drive the implementation of projects generated from within the operations team
- Lead the development, implementation and review of HR policies and procedures

Candidates should have proven background in managing an HR team, ideally in a larger organisation and be technically minded, ideally with CIPD 7 qualification.  Alongside this you should be able to demonstrate a commercial approach to HR and the ability to shape HR strategy.
