Are you eager to kickstart your career in secondary education but feel you lack the necessary experience or confidence? Vision for Education's partner secondary schools are actively seeking individuals to join them as Cover Supervisors, offering opportunities for both daily supply and long-term supply contracts.

No prior teaching experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills for success. As a Cover Supervisor, you will lead classes of approximately 30 students in the absence of the regular teacher. While you'll cover a range of subjects, mastery of each is not expected. Lesson plans will be provided in advance, and your responsibilities will include facilitating learning, managing classroom behavior, maintaining records, and ensuring a seamless handover to the absent teacher.

Successful Cover Supervisors are characterized by their adaptability, motivation, and organisational prowess, coupled with a commitment to education and supporting young learners. This role offers an invaluable opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a secondary school setting before pursuing further teaching training.

Requirements

The desired Classroom Supervisor will have;

-          Experience of working with secondary school aged children

-          A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
