Senior Building Physics Consultant
Location: Manchester, UK
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Purobuild are partnered with a leading, global consultancy specialising in sustainable building design and engineering. This consultancy are currently looking for a Senior Building Physics Consultant to join their team based in Manchester. The successful candidate will join an established team working on some exceptional, complex projects across a range of sectors.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Provide energy and sustainability consulting services to a range of clients across the built environment and construction sector
- Responsible for providing building energy consulting services and be able to offer advice to clients on recommendations to improve systems
- Liaising with project engineers, members of the design teams and be confident communicating with clients
Senior Building Physics Consultant requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience using IES VE and proficient undertaking energy analysis
• Eperience with Part L calculations
• Experience in operational Energy modelling (TM54 etc)
• Experience undertaking overheating/daylight assessments
• Experienced in IES ApacheHVAC for detailed energy modelling
• Low Carbon Consultant (LCC) and Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA) qualifications desired.
