As an Accounts Assistant, You Will Have:

Experience in a generalist role within a hotel accounts/finance department
Excellent working knowledge of Excel and PMS systems (ideally Opera), as well as other systems like Fourth and Adaco
A systematic approach to work to ensure tasks are prioritised and completed to strict deadlines
Strong organisational and administrative skills with an eye for detail
Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to resolve enquiries efficiently
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibility with working hours to meet business demands
What Will You Be Doing as an Accounts Assistant?

Completing daily revenue audits and daily banking procedures
Maintaining stores
Conducting food and liquor stock takes and ordering
Handling goods receiving
Completing month-end procedures, including journals, accruals, and pre-payments
Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
Monitoring control procedures and financial policies to maximise profitability
Providing proactive support to colleagues regarding operational procedures and standards, offering operational assistance and advice
