Now hiring: Financial Analyst
The Sureserve Group, a leading provider of heating, compliance and energy services across the UK, is seeking a highly diligent and experienced Financial Analyst.
Overview of the Role:
Fully qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) financial analyst to support month-end and budgeting / planning processes. The ideal candidate will have strong excel modelling skills, exposure to financial reporting systems and ability to generate insights from data analysis. The role holder will be provided with FP&A & financial reporting opportunities and career progression in a fast growing & acquisitive business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of group budgets, financial plans & board presentations.
Assist to produce monthly management accounts, performance commentary and analysis.
Preparation of weekly cash forecasts by engaging with finance leads of operating companies.
Ownership of group consolidated order book and other revenue reports.
Development of financial models as needed.
Generation of profit margin improvement opportunities through data driven analysis.
Support Director of Group reporting and Group financial controller in ad hoc tasks.
Continuously improve group financial reporting & planning processes.
Qualifications:
Qualified to ACA / ACCA / CIMA
Qualified to degree level
Skills & experience:
Experienced in budgeting & FP&A.
Engagement with finance & non-finance stakeholders.
Understand business profit drivers.
Ability to communicate concisely, clearly, and persuasively in writing and verbally.
Ability to deal with confidential matters sensitively and in accordance with policy.
Advanced Excel modelling skills, additionally MS Office, email, Word and Powerpoint).
Knowledge of Navision or Similar system.
Set high personal standards.
Ability to operate well as part of a team.
Good customer service attitude.
What we offer:
£55,000 to £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
40 hours per week Monday to Friday
