Project Manager (Audio-Visual) (152dm) – London- Office based Nr Farringdon- Up to £55,000

If you have done your Prince 2 qualification and are looking to put it into effect then this could be the role for you.

You will be working on projects of circa £2 million value operating in the Audio Visual (AV) sector.

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.

Leading a team of 3 to 4 people including the project engineer, and you will be front and centre of the whole process.

Ensuring the client is kept in the loop at all times even when the news isn’t good!

Our client is a premier provider of audio-visual solutions, dedicated to delivering exceptional AV projects across the UK and beyond.

With a focus on innovation and client satisfaction, they specialise in creating immersive audio-visual experiences for corporate, hospitality, and retail environments.

The company is a growing organisation with headcount increasing as the pipeline of projects comes online.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional organisational skills in managing multiple projects and a comprehensive understanding of AV technology and systems.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

•Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, tailored to each AV project.

•Coordinate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

•Monitor project progress closely, identifying and addressing any issues or delays to keep projects on schedule.

•Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide progress updates and solicit feedback.

Budget Management:

•Create and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and objectives.

•Monitor project expenses diligently, implementing cost-saving measures where feasible to optimise project profitability.

•Prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts, presenting them to the Senior Leadership Team and clients as necessary.

Risk Management:

•Identify potential risks associated with AV projects and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimise project disruptions.

•Proactively assess project risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate their impact.

•Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all project phases.

Stakeholder Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing regular updates on project status and progress.

Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to foster collaboration and ensure project success.

Clearly communicate project objectives, requirements, and deliverables to all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.

Quality Assurance:

Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.

Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks at key project milestones to maintain exceptional workmanship.

Establish feedback mechanisms to continuously improve project performance and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

•Proven track record of success as a Project Manager, with extensive experience in delivering audio-visual projects.

•Demonstrated ability to manage projects with budgets of up to £2 million, delivering them on time and within budget.

•Strong technical knowledge of audio-visual systems, equipment, and technologies.

•Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams.

•Proficiency in project management tools and software.

•Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work well under pressure.

•PMP or PRINCE2 certification (preferred).

•Eligible to work in the UK – required.
