SEN Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield (S2)
Salary Scale: £140 - £210 per day
Status: ASAP
About the Role:
GSL Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Sports Coach to support student in schools in Sheffield (S2). This role focuses on students with Social, Mental and Physical health needs.
As a SEN Sports Coach, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and empower students with diverse learning needs through sports and physical activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering engaging sports sessions tailored to the abilities and interests of SEN students.
Adapting activities to accommodate individual needs and promote inclusivity.
Collaborating with teachers and support staff to integrate sports into the broader curriculum and individual education plans (IEPs).
Providing encouragement, motivation, and positive reinforcement to foster confidence and skill development.
Monitoring student progress and behavior, and communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.
The successful candidate will:
Experience working with SEN students or individuals with disabilities.
A passion for sports and fitness, with expertise in a variety of activities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in sports coaching and SEN education are desirable.
