Job Title: Contracts Manager

Location: Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £45,000 (Negotiable)

What Will the Job Involve?

Conduct site visits and scope surveys.
Attend site progress meetings and subcontractor meetings.
Regularly visit sites to ensure all necessary resources and information are available to meet program dates and perform quality checks, ensuring high-standard project delivery.
Develop construction phase health and safety plans.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, site managers, and subcontractors.
Collaborate closely with the in-house commercial and buying team.
Liaise with internal departments regarding subcontractor and supplier procurement.
Create and review construction programs for live projects and communicate with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety advisors to maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
Manage project teams, ensuring performance aligns with program and budget expectations.
Provide project reporting to keep all key stakeholders informed of site activity and progress.Who Are they looking for?

Ideally, I am looking to speak to candidates with the following qualifications and skills (although these are not essential):

Experience working as a Contracts Manager.
Proven track record of managing and delivering multiple concurrent projects.
Excellent communication skills at all levels and the ability to motivate others.
Self-motivated with exceptional organisational skills.
Hardworking, flexible, and reliable with keen attention to detail.
Ability to adapt and work well under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
Ability to plan, program, and monitor project sequences.
Knowledge in health and safety obligations and building legislation.
