POSITION OVERVIEW
The DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the infrastructure for our production and development environments. He will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems by constantly monitoring performance, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing necessary improvements.
As release manager for the Americas region, he will coordinate and oversee the release process, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of software releases. Responsibilities include managing the release schedule, resolving any issues or blockers, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
With a deep understanding of SQL and a thorough knowledge of database performance related issues, the candidate will play a crucial role in the optimization of the database architecture. By fine-tuning the database infrastructure, the candidate will enhance its efficiency and ensure the overall maintainability of the system.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer and maintain the infrastructure running our production and development environments
Monitor the infrastructure and ensure its availability and performance
Troubleshoot issues related to the infrastructure and applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud resources and implement best practices
Participate in the design and execution of maintenance operations
Prepare the release packages and deploy them to production
Requirements
At least 7+ years of experience in the following:
Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Strong knowledge of infrastructure management and monitoring tools
Experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to infrastructure and applications
Deep knowledge of relational databases (SQL, Transact-SQL, Azure SQL or similar)
At ease with Continuous Integration platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub, CircleCI or similar)
Experience with Git
Understanding of networking protocols and concepts
Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of security principles and best practices
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Competitive Salary: $150K - $200K
